The Christmas time is over, but this does not have to mean an end to relax and culture. What are my tips for January?

Vánoce máme za sebou, ale to nemusí znamenat, že s pár dny volna skončí i relax a kultura. Jaké mám tipy na měsíc leden?

This year´s Christmas time we were watching legendary horror movies. I was positively surprised by Japanese movie called Kwaidan (1964) that consists of four tales. It is not a shocking slasher movie, but it builds the atmosphere very nicely. I personally liked all four tales. The weakest one is the fourth one, because it de facto does not have an end. It had a cool premise but without an ending that would be giving me chills, which happened with the three other tales.

Letošní období Vánoc se u mě doma neslo v koukání se na legendární horory. Velmi mě zaujal japonský povídkový film Kwaidan (1964). Nejde o žádný krvák, spíše o budování atmosféry. Osobně mně připadaly všechny čtyři povídky zajímavé. Za nejslabší asi považuji tu poslední, protože je de facto nedokončená, ale byl to bezva námět, jen bohužel bez nějakého zakončení, ze kterého by zamrazilo, tak jako u ostatních povídek.

Recently I have gotten my hands on book by Alena Thomas - We make it ourselves (1) (unfortunately I think this book is only in Czech). There are already three volumes of this book, but I enjoyed mostly the first one, because it shares recipes for DIY cosmetics and remedies. This is something I am interested in a lot and I think this book is a good first step.
Nedávno se mi do ruky dostala kniha od Aleny Thomas - Děláme si to doma sami (1). V současnosti jsou již tři díly, ale já bych chtěla poukázat hlavně na ten první díl. V něm totiž najdete recepty na výrobu domácí kosmetiky a léčiv. Tohle je něco, co mě dlouhodobě zajímá a tuto knihu považuji za skvělý základní kámen.

If you are interested in these topics and never heard of Tai, you should check him out, maybe you will like his content. Some years ago, he had quite a legendary ad and the viral Here in my garage..., which jumpstarted his career od motivational speaker.
Na Youtube bych vám doporučila podívat se na kanál Tai Lopez pro lepší motivaci. Tai Lopez je podnikatel a motivační řečník a často se věnuje tématům kolem podnikání. Pokud vás tohle zajímá a ještě jste Taie neznáte, třebas vám sedne. Před lety se proslavil reklamou a následně virálem Here in my garage..., čímž odstartoval svou kariéru motivačního řečníka.
