A girl that walks alone at night

Recently I have seen the movie A girl walks home alone at night (2014) and I cannot get it out of my head (FYI, the trailer doesn´t do the movie a justice). There isn´t much happening in it as it is artistic movie, but the camera work is gorgeous and I also liked the soundtrack, especially one song (White lies: Death). I am mostly thinking about the almost last scene that is framed beautifully - the main protagonists are sitting in a car and a cat is between them. The cat is an unasked question and answer between these characters. Nothing is said, but a whole conversation is happening in silence.

Nedávno jsem viděla film Sama nocí tmou (2014) a pořád na něj musím myslet (mimochodem, trailer k filmu je celkem mimo). Moc se v něm neděje, je totiž umělecký, ale kamera je dokonalá a též mě oslovil soundtrack, zejména pak jedna písnička (White Lies: Death). Nejvíce musím myslet na takřka poslední scénu, která je dokonale natočená - hlavní postavy filmu sedí v autě a mezi nimi je kočka, která je nevyřčenou a nezodpovězenou otázkou mezi nima. Nepadne jediné slovo, ale přesto se v tichu odehrává celá konverzace.

Most scenes in the movie are happening during the night which inspired me to go out and try to take a few photos of myself in the dark, because I have never tried it before and it sounded like a cool idea. I actually enjoy the outcome and might do this again. Thinking about it - it would be a cool aesthetic for an Instagram profile or a whole blog...

Většina scén filmu se odehrává v noci, což mě inspirovalo zkusit si zafotit za tmy, sebe jsem ještě nikdy za tmy nefotila a byla jsem dost zvědavá na to, jak mi to půjde. Myslím, že nakonec celkem dobré, takže si to zas někdy zopakuji. Když na to tak koukám, tak by to byla zajímavá estetika na celý Instagramový profil nebo dokonce pro celý blog...

This raspbery pink dress is one of my recent creations. I have been creating a lot during the lockdown. The pattern is inspired by the dress of Shae and other King´s Landing ladies from the Game of Thrones. I think it is gorgeous, although not many details can be seen in these night photos (I already have a photoshoot with red poppies in my mind for this), and I am certainly going to create another piece using this pattern.

Tyto malinově růžové šaty patří k mým novějším výtvorům. Během karantény jsem hodně hodně šila. Střih je inspirován šaty Shae a dam z Králova přístaviště ze Hry o trůny, což na těchto nočních fotkách zrovna moc nevyniká (ale už mám vymyšlené focení v poli červených vlčích máků), ale rozhodně tento střih ještě použiji na další šaty.
